Earl Ellis, CPA

Earl Ellis serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, leading ABM’s finance organization, which includes treasury, accounting, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, and global procurement and supply chain.  

Providing insight that helps guide and inform the company’s future growth, Earl plays an integral role in developing the company’s strategy, operating profit, cash flow and capital deployment plans.  

Prior to joining ABM, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Best Buy Canada and Senior Vice President of Finance in the US for Best Buy’s revenue generating channels. He also held executive positions at Canadian Tire, Campbell Soup Company, Kraft Foods, and Coca-Cola.  

Earl is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada and an active member of the Executive Leadership Council, a not-for-profit organization working to build an inclusive business leadership pipeline.  He is currently a member of the Board of Director for Xylem Inc., a leading global water technology company committed to solving critical water and infrastructure challenges.  

Earl has been recognized by Savoy Magazine as one of the most influential black executives in Corporate America, and among the Empower Ethnic Minority Executives Role Model List of inspirational leaders who work to drive inclusion for others within the workplace.  

He earned a bachelor’s in management economics from the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada.
